Action Alert: Contribute to Global Target Setting

4. November 2014

UNAIDS is now seeking input on global targets for prevention and non-discrimination.  These targets will complement the “90 90 90” treatment target announced in July.
UNAIDS is seeking to establish targets that can galvanize action in countries to drastically reduce new HIV infections, as well as stigma and discrimination experienced by people living with HIV, vulnerable and key populations.
There are three ways to provide input:
    1. Submit written comments by November 12 to advocacy@unaids.org
    2. Comment on a google document by November 12 where you can build on others’ comments:
         • Non-discrimination target: bit.ly/1tCIr91
         • Prevention target: bit.ly/1pXuI7H
    3. Join one or both webinars to discuss the targets.  To sign up write advocacy@unaids.org
         • Non-discrimination, November 6 10:00 and 16:00 Central Europe Time
         • Prevention, November 13 10:00 and 16:00 Central Europe Time
Please feel free to forward this to others who may be interested.
